1.Shortly after graduated from KPIS International School, Bangkok Thailand, Patty Tavatanakit enrolled in UCLA Psychology Department and planned to focus on her degree before playing full time in Symetra Tour and LPGA Tour.
2.Patty Tavatanakit’s real Thai Nick name is ‘Meow’ while ‘Patty’ is what her friends usually call her as a much easier to pronounce version of her name ‘Paphangkorn’, so she decided to go by the name ‘Patty’ in professional golf instead.
3.Patty decided to turned pro on May 27th 2019, shortly after finished tie for 26th at ANA Inspirations 2019. She submitted her request to USGA then US Women Open 2019 became the first event she played as a pro.
4.Patty is only the second Thai golfer to awarded The Rolex Junior Player of the Year from American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) in 2016. The First Thai to received the award? Ariya Jutanugarn.
5.Patty recently joined IMG Sport Agency which taking care of some big names like the Jutanugarn Sisters, Michelle Wie, Hideki Matsuyama and so on.
